It combines old Gods, with some of the lesser used supernaturals - who knew trolls could be so sexy! - and an original storyline. Rae is an old, forgotten Goddess in hiding, but her past is about to come back and haunt her, forcing her to resurface. It's a slow burn story, so she's only really connected with one of her ultimate partners by the end of the book, although she has met at least one other. Their path I have no doubt is going to be long and arduous. Miles has some very unique qualities which cause him to be a great character and as the characters get introduced into the story it gets better and better.
